'GTA Online' update: 'Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2': New vehicles, weapons, items

 Rockstar Games website

"Grand Theft Auto Online" gamers are ecstatic as game developer Rockstar Games has announced the rollout of the second part of the "Ill-Gotten Gains" expansion.

In a post on their website, Rockstar Games explains that "Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2" brings a host of new content to the game, including new vehicles, weapons, and in-game items such as clothing and accessories. Rewards and items included in the update are also targeted at enthusiasts who want the most exclusive and luxurious of in-game purchases.

"A love of the finer things is one of the few ways a career criminal can celebrate success – something the high-end retailers of Rockford Hills and beyond know all too well," said Rockstar Games. "With an outbreak of Heists hitting the city recently, merchants have rushed to stock their shelves and showrooms with exotic collectables to accommodate Los Santos' new class of heavily armed and upwardly mobile professionals."

The most noted of all the new features included in the expansion is The Lab, the radio station that came exclusive with the release of the PC version. With the rollout of the new update, The Lab can now be selected as one of the radio stations in all four console versions of "Grand Theft Auto V."

Meanwhile, "Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2" will introduce players to new vehicles such as the Coil Brawler, Progen T20 supercar, Vapid Chino, and Dinka Vindicator. There will also be a new speedboat available for purchase, as well as exotic weaponry through in-game store Ammu-Nation.

To celebrate the release of the new update, the new vehicles will be available with a one-time 25 percent rebate when purchased before July 15. However, players must be a registered and verified member of the Rockstar Games Social Club, the Rockstar Games mailing list, and a Crew.
