More and more fans are eagerly hoping that publisher and developer Rockstar Games would finally shed some light on the much-rumored "Lowrider" DLC expansion for its current "Grand Theft Auto V" title.

In the latest round off the rumor mills, avid gamer and YouTuber DomisLive (aka Dom) made a suggestion that based on the apparently leaked DLC game files and timeline, Rockstar Games would probably release the "Lowrider" expansion by next month. This might come after the developer rolls out its next update: the Rockstar Editor for console versions.

Rockstar Games has already announced the release window for its porting of the Rockstar Editor feature to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In the post on Rockstar Newswire, the company's official posting page, Rockstar said that PS4 and Xbox One players may expect the Rockstar Editor to roll out on their "Grand Theft Auto V" versions by September.

Aside from the previous options that players enjoy on the Rockstar Editor, the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions will have additional new options to tinker with.

The Director mode, one of the most noted and fan-favorite features for the Editor, will receive a significant update, as the new version will have a more visible minimap highlighted with preset locations. The updated mode will also allow players to choose their time of day settings and freeze it, as well as immediately spawn water and air vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Rockstar Editor will have more, expanded options for detailed movie tinkering. Players can now add ambient audio and sound effects from the vast Rockstar library, as well as export still frames directly to Snapmatic. In addition, the updated Editor will have new fonts and style options for titles and credits.

However, as Rockstar confirmed that the update will be rolling out next month, there was no mention of any expansion DLC at all.
