'Grimm' season 5 cast news: 'OITNB' alum becomes a Wesen

Madeline Brewer, who starred in the first season of hit Netflix dramedy "Orange is the New Black," will appear in "Grimm" season 5, this time as a Wesen. She will portray the role of Billie Trump, a Wesen of Skalengeck breed who are known for their lizard-like appearance.

Brewer's character is a lieutenant but she is not just an ordinary deputy. According to TV Line, she is a "fierce" creature that is part of an up-and-coming Wesen street gang "who is raising hell in Portland." The group's ominous description is just the first thing to worry about, apparently.

The aforementioned publication says that Trump and her gang are just mere introduction into something much more terrible. It remains to be seen what horrors will follow but it looks like season 5 will feature even bigger baddies.

Brewer is known to "Orange is the New Black" fans as the tattooed drug addict Tricia. The "Hemlock Grove" star will be the second actress from the show to make a leap from Litchfield to the world of supernatural. The first one was Elizabeth Rodriguez, who appeared in the last season as an FBI agent and will be back for more action this season.

A new trailer for "Grimm" season 5 was recently released, and it shows Nick devastated and destroyed by the death of his beloved Juliette. The clip shows that with the loss of his true love, Portland's best detective has nothing left in him but fury. His actions drive him out of his job and into the deep end and it looks like Nick will be like this for a while.

In the finale of the fourth season, Nick was about to kill Juliette himself but his love for her couldn't bring him to do it, and so Trubel stepped in and did the job. A glimpse of Juliette's funeral is shown in the trailer, too.

"Grimm" season 5 will feature a determined Nick when it premieres Oct. 30.
