Although she keeps on denying it, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is still haunted by her near-death ordeal. In the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy," the doctor will finally burst out to her friends that she is far from being okay.

Last episode, Meredith was attacked by a patient. She ended up severely beaten and fighting for her life. Her colleagues did their best to save her and they succeeded, at least in helping her recover physically. What they will fail to see is that the surgeon's experience has left her in trauma. It is a good thing that the one of the hospital's standard operating procedures is to make sure that their doctors are a hundred percent fit for work. Someone like Meredith, who faced such a harrowing ordeal, needs to undergo therapy to check if she is fine.

In "All I Want Is You," the promo shows Meredith conversing with her therapist. He is telling her that something terrible happened and she needs to let it out. Meredith smilingly answers that she is lucky to be alive. When the therapist asks her why then she is angry, the doctor contradicts and says she is not. But when she turns her back from the shrink, viewers see Meredith's face changing from contentment to exasperation. It looks like the man is correct in reading her current state.

The scene cuts to Meredith receiving visitors in their apartment. Callie (Sara Ramirez) is there, as well as Maggie (Kelly McCreary), who is asking her sister what they can do to help her out. Meredith surprises them when she calmly tells them to leave her house and get out. Will she ever move on from her traumatic experience if she keeps on pushing those who love her away? It looks like the road to recovery will not be easy for her, as she continues to deny her true feelings.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
