Google has yet to announce the existence of the Nexus 5 2015 aka Nexus 5X, but the rumor mill already has word on when it will be up for pre-order. Talk Android claims that as early as Oct. 13, consumers will be able to reserve for themselves a unit of the LG-manufactured Nexus 5 reboot.

If this is accurate, the software giant might lift the veil off of its new smartphone offering on Sept. 29 as per previous rumors. This reveal is said to take place in San Francisco but Google still hasn't debunked or confirmed these persistent speculations.

The Nexus 5X will allegedly cost around $400 when it becomes available. As for its specs, it is touted to sport a 5.2-inch display that generates a 1080p resolution. It is expected to be fitted out with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, which would work perfectly fine with its 3 GB RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB storage space.

The Nexus 5 2015 was copiously leaked in the past weeks in the form of press renders and live images showing that it will feature a fingerprint scanner, a protruding primary camera and a slightly changed-up button placement.

There is great expectation on the handset as it is being made by LG. According to Forbes, the Nexus devices the South Korea-based company created in the past are the most popular.

The LG-made Nexus is assumed to show up on the same Sept. 29 event with the Nexus 6, which is reportedly being developed by Huawei. This marks the first time Google will release two smartphones in a year.

Not much is known about the Nexus 6 although it is expected to come with a 5.7-inch display, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage and probably Qualcomm's latest processor. It could be up for pre-order on Oct. 13 as well.
