'Girl Meets World' season 2 spoilers: Riley tries out to become a cheerleader in episode 19 'Girl Meets Rah-Rah'

After a night of horrors featuring the ghost at the bay window, "Girl Meets World" returns for season 2 this week with an episode that doesn't involve phantoms or spooks but rather a group of pompom-wielding young girls, whom Riley wants to be part of so badly.

In the upcoming installment of the series titled "Girl Meets Rah-Rah," the annual cheerleading tryouts are now open for aspiring cheerleaders such as Riley, who is prepared to give her all to make it to the squad and has apparently been waiting for this moment.

This "Girl Meets World" season 2 episode will not be complete without Farkle, Maya and Lucas, who will be Riley's own cheerleaders in her quest to becoming a cheerleader. In a promo still for the episode, they will be watching her audition holding up placards with words "Go Riley."

While it is still unclear if Riley will be able to get in, what's clear is that she will have her loyal best friends' back whatever the outcome of the audition will be. Nonetheless, their asupport for Riley should help her perform her best.

As per Carter Matt, Riley, truth be told, has what it takes to be a cheerleader, but the question from there is if she would enjoy the moment enough to continue doing it or simply perform one time just to know how it feels to cheer for others with others.

The answer to that, as per the aforementioned publication, lies partly in the people she will be around with. The personalities of the girls in the squad will be explored in this "Girl Meets World" season 2 installment and it is expected that Riley will get along with them for their love for one thing – cheerleading. Whether or not she gets in the squad, Riley's infectious energy ought to earn her new friends.

"Girl Meets World" season 2 episode 19 "Girl Meets Rah-Rah" airs Oct. 9.
