Last week's installment of "Girl Meets World" season 2 was quite a treat to fans of the original series, "Boy Meets World." Here, viewers saw Riley realize, with the help of previous clips from the latter, that a girl her age doesn't need to have everything figured out.

The footages from the series showed that Riley's parents also had to fumble around the maze of life before they got to where they are today. As successful as they are now, they were also once bemused of what the future held for them and how their present will lead them to a future they want.

Carter Matt points out that the merging of the two shows, both technically and story-wise, made this episode entertaining and nostalgic to watch. The publication added that this installment also emerged as the most ambitious one the cast and crew ever attempted to do.

In the upcoming "Girl Meets World" season 2 episode titled "Girl Meets Rileytown," the protagonist's insecurities again gets the best of her. Here, she is made fun of by a classmate, something that she takes to heart, leading her to become "overly sensitive" to almost anything.

So when her friend Maya jokes around and unintentionally hurts her feelings, she and the rest of the group learn of their friend's trouble. Upon realizing that Riley needs a little boosting up, her pals do their best to restore her confidence. Her friends remind her how great she really is and urge her to love herself fully with all her imperfections and the flaws, which make her human and the friend they know and love.

It remains to be seen how they will do it or if Riley will ever be persuaded by them. It is also exciting to see if this episode has another something in store for "Boy Meets World" fans.

"Girl Meets World" season 2 episode 17 "Girl Meets Rileytown" airs Sept. 25.
