There has been a revival in the works for the "Gilmore Girls" series for a while now, and it has been announced to be released through Netflix. Amy Sherman-Palladino, the executive producer of the show, has decided to assemble the previous cast from the original series, even with their limited schedules. Carter Matt lets us know that one of the most missed characters is Dean, played by Jared Padalecki who stars as Sam in "Supernatural". Despite this, he is said to appear in one "cool" scene with an actress who intimately knows the set.

US Weekly assumes that this means it will be a brief scene. They also review how Jared mentions it gave him "closure" and that he was able to "wrap it up in a really cool way". Other interviews let us know that this one scene has been revealed to be Doose's Market, and that it is safe for fans to believe that Dean, who was a possessive abusive ex, will share a bittersweet moment with the main character Rory, who is played by Alexis Bedel. The location is also where the two characters shared their first kiss. ET Online says that the 33-year old actor, who has already gotten a big fan base from "Supernatural", might not have divulged that much about it just yet. This is to make sure that other characters may also get their own spotlight in the said film.

Other fans are less against this notion, since it should be fine for Dean and Lorelai to finally get an official goodbye. They hope that Dean will have matured to become a more decent adult, one that Padalecki would be proud to say goodbye to. Entertainment Weekly reports that this heartfelt scene will be out in "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life", which is expected to premiere later this 2016.
