'Game of Thrones' season 5 spoilers: Aegon Targaryen still alive, Jon Snow will be killed

"Game of Thrones" season five will be full of surprises including Jon Snow being stabbed and Aegon Targaryen still being alive.

There are a lot of reasons to wait for the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones". Recent spoilers claim that a character will die, while another will secretly remain alive. These spoilers are from "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance With Dragons".

Based on the books, Stannis Baratheon and Snow will join forces. Stannis will even crown Snow Lord of Winterfell. However, Snow will encounter political difficulties and will bleed to death from a stabbing.

Tyrion will leave King's Landing and will encounter a band of travelers who turn out to be the caretakers of Aegon Targaryen -- who was thought to be dead and is the potential heir to the throne.

Cersei will continue to act as puppet master to her son, King Tommen. However, as she tries to accuse Margaery of infidelity, the tables will turn and Cersei will be shamed and excommunicated from the kingdom, according to the novels.

Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" season five has reportedly begun filming. Web site Winter Is Coming consolidated tweets from various sources claiming that filming for the next season has already started. The show will reportedly shoot from July until November. The web site added that production has started in Northern Ireland where most of the show's sets are located.

"Game of Thrones" season five will feature some of the familiar locations in the series. There were reports that the big HBO production is scouting Croatia as a setting for the fifth season. Reports also claim that the cast and crew are heading to Iceland to film in a very limited amount of daylight hours before going to Spain to shoot the Dorne scenes for the popular TV show.
