'Frozen 2' spoilers: No happy ending for Anna; Hans sets eyes on Elsa

Spoilers claim Hans is back to win Elsa's heart in "Frozen 2." Facebook/Disney

Fans of the hit Disney animated movie "Frozen" just cannot wait to see Queen Elsa, Anna, and the rest of their memorable entourage back on the big screen. Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee must be feeling the pressure of topping the phenomenal success of the original film, but they remain mum about the challenge, especially about any spoilers on the sequel's storyline.

To appease people's raging thirst for updates, many sources have come up with possible plots for "Frozen 2." Crossmap has enumerated several of the spoilers making rounds in the Internet, one being that Prince Hans from the Southern Isles will return. The person who plotted against the Queen and Princess of Arendelle will reportedly be back, but this time, he is once again sporting a squeaky clean persona. When he was banished from the kingdom for endangering Anna's life, Hans has retreated to a life of regrets.

The youngest of the brood, Hans had nothing on his name except his title. All his brothers have taken the position reserved for the ruling monarchy. When he set his sights on Arendelle, he vowed to be the husband of one of the women in its royal family. Elsa was difficult to approach, as she has basically imprisoned herself inside the castle. Her coronation day was the first time people from the outside stepped inside its walls after the king and queen died.

When Hans saw Anna, sweet and innocent but extremely naïve, he set out to seduce her. At the end of the night, she had accepted his proposal of marriage. When Elsa heard about it, she sought to break them up. The rest of the story, of course, is history. Now that Hans is back, he is once again out to follow his dream of lording over a kingdom of his own. This time, he has his eye set on Queen Elsa. Will she accept his apologies for putting Anna and Arendelle in danger? If she does, will Arendelle have a new king?

Meanwhile, Movie News Guide that things will not work out for Anna. The website posits that she will discover her hidden powers, but it will be so evil it will consume her. Because of the darkness inside Anna, Elsa will reportedly decide to part ways with her and protect the kingdom from her at all cost.

"Frozen 2" has no release date yet, but it is expected to hit the cinemas in 2017.
