Not much is known about what sort of adventure Elsa and Anna will embark on in "Frozen 2." This lack of concrete updates sends the rumor mill churning for morsels of info to keep fans of the blockbuster Disney franchise busy while waiting for the film.
There are speculations that Anna will be revealed to possess some superpowers, too. According to reports, the sequel will see Elsa's younger sister show her own abilities, which does not have anything to do with ice or snow. It is, however, unclear what sort of magical powers Anna will have in "Frozen 2."
But speaking of powers, it also remains a mystery whether or not the highly anticipated sequel will reveal how Elsa acquired her ability to control snow and ice. However, reports about young Elsa to be featured in the movie might shed some light on it.
Apparently, Eva Bella, who voiced Elsa as a kid in the first film, signed on for "Frozen 2." M Magazine spotted a post by the star where she hinted that she is back on set for the film. It remains to be seen what her return means for the plot, but it is being said it has to do with the story of Elsa's powers.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Elsa and Olaf, who rumor mills previously claimed will be linked romantically in the sequel, will get their respective love interests. There is no solid info about the latter, but as for the former, word on the street is that she will be paired with Prince Hans.
The prince will no longer be cunning and evil like he was in the first movie though. He will apparently be a changed man when he returns to Arendelle. This will sway the siblings he betrayed to give him a second chance, which will also open the doors to a romance with Elsa.
"Frozen 2" will be released in November 2018.
