Some of the fans of the RPG genre have grown up to a host of memorable titles under the "Final Fantasy" franchise. The series is so broad in scope that it even branched out to release a film, manga, and anime show about its diverse world. Since the franchise is one of the most known titles in the gaming industry, gamers are undoubtedly expecting something great from "Final Fantasy XV," the upcoming installment in the long-running saga.

To quell fans' speculations and satisfy expectations, publisher Square Enix has decided to make the title its focus for the upcoming 2015 gamescom convention. Not only that, they will be holding "Final Fantasy XV" presentations all throughout the event.

Starting right on the first day, the Square Enix team will present and highlight an "Active Time Report" with exclusive details on the game. In addition, the presentation will not be exclusive to gamescom participants as fans all around the world can also watch the one-hour live stream online at the Square Enix Twitch channel. Although the presentation and Q&A portion will cover many topics about the title, one of the most expected questions to crop up during the event is the specific global release dates for the game, since Square Enix is still decidedly silent on the issue.

Meanwhile, the "Final Fantasy XV" development team will be present every conference day to answer fan questions, provide game information, hand out freebies, and most likely help gamers who want to experience "Final Fantasy XV" first by playing the demo, "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae Version 2.0."

The confirmed attendees from Square Enix for the gamescom are game director Hajime Tabata, art director Isamu Kamikokuryo, concept artist Yuki Matsuzawa, and composer Yoko Shimomura.

This year's gamescom event will be held from Aug. 5 to 9 in Cologne, Germany.
