"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is set to start the year 2018 with their best foot forward by releasing a Figma figure of title female character, Selene.

Good Smile Company will be manufacturing the non-scale articulated figure and is set to be released by April next year. With a price tag of ¥6,296, Figma Selene will come with an assortment of accessories that includes a pair of closed fists, right hand holding a Pokeball, expressive open right hand, a pair of open palms, and a right hand with a pointing finger. Other accessories include the default smiling face and a happy face with and open mouth, shoulder bag, and Z-rings.

Figmas are known to have figures with good articulation so that fans who buy their products will have the freedom to recreate the poses of the character as seen in the anime. Figma Selene is no exception, with elbows and knees bending to 90 degrees. There is a bicep and thigh rotation, with ankle and wrist rockers. The head can turn and look up and down easily. Unfortunately, due to the design of the clothes of Figma Selene, the figure is missing a dedicated ab crunch, but it can turn in the waist. Both legs can kick forward really well. The splits, however, will be less promising but still better compared to most Figmas.

The proportions of Figma Selene are correct and 100 percent accurate to the anime. From her red hat, to her clothes and shoes, and even her bag – the attention to detail is top-tier. There is decent part separation and surface sculpting done on the anime character to give it justice. The 135mm figure will also come with an articulated stand.

Sculptors Koshinuma Shinji and Taisou from Max Factory made sure that they translated the official artwork properly.

Fans will also be treated with the three starter Pokemons that will come along with Figma Selene. Rowlett, Popplio, and Litten will make great display piece for every Pokemon fan.
