While PS4 players are still waiting for mod support, PC players can now download update 1,7 via Steam. The update can be viewed and downloaded via the "Fallout 4" Steam page. This will now officially open update 1.7 for beta testing, particularly for the newer features that the update offers for the game.

One of the key additions that update 1.7 offers is the required support build for the "Nuka World" DLC. As stated in a report from Gotta Be Mobile, Nuka World is a type of amusement park built in the post-apocalyptic Wasteland. Images have shown ruins of a rollercoaster and several construction machines.

This would mean that the "Nuka World" DLC is set to release soon now that update 1.7 prepares PC users for the upcoming content.

Workshop settlements will also get new store art types although the exact details have yet to be showcased in promotional images or a trailer.

When the update launches for PS4 it will allow users to delete Add-Ons without having to resort to a complete game uninstall. It is unclear if the PS4 or Xbox One versions will also get exclusive fixes for problems that are not apparent on the PC version of "Fallout 4."

The update will be featuring several key fixes to the game. One of the new fixes lets the Junk Mortar fire molotov cocktails and grenades. Ceramic, Copper, Rubber, Steel and Wood can now be offered by vendors in large shipments. It also fixes the Disable All Mods feature to ensure it works even when the player is offline.

According to a report from Shack News, Xbox One and PS4 users can expect the update to release approximately a month after the PC release. Given that the PC version already has update 1.7 via Steam, the console versions are expected to receive the update by the end of August or in early September.
