Eminem is said to be releasing his new album on April 8, 2017. This rumor is according to a Twitter post made by Eminem News. Allegedly, this album was supposed to be out by the end of this year, but rumors from various sources state that he's been lacking in inspiration lately, hence the release date.

Of course, while a release date is reportedly already set, a lot of rumors still abound. His performance at the Lollapalooza music festival in Argentina featured his major hits such as "White America", "Love the Way You Lie and "Without Me." But after this, a lot of people noticed that he was absent at the Coachella festival in California. Ever since then, it has been said that the rapper is focusing on his upcoming album and has already recorded eight new tracks for it. Regardless of this, some other rumors state that this is far from being complete, which also points to the reason behind the delayed release.

Furthermore, Blasting News reports that another possible reason for this delay is that Eminem is suffering from OCD, which probably affects him while creating his new music.

Eminem's latest album was released in 2013, entitled "The Marshal Mathers LP 2", which gained the acclaim of several award-giving entities. It garnered Top Rap Album at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and got the Best Hip Hop/Urban Artist award at the Echo Awards in the same year. It also won the Best Rap Album at last year's Grammy Awards.
