A lot of fans are excited to see the upcoming battle between Goku and Goku Black in the "Dragon Ball Super" series. With the newest episode trailer already released, fans should expect this battle to commence.

The trailer starts off with Goku and his adversary Goku Black facing each other, ready to square it off. After that, the former transforms into his Super Saiyan form and both combatants advance toward each other. Goku then punches Goku Black, sending him flying from the impact. However, he was able to recover without any problems, proving again that he's no ordinary enemy.

The second half of this trailer then shows Goku Black gathering his power to launch a massive beam attack against Goku. By its end, Goku is shown lying on the ground. Could this mean that Goku Black is way more powerful than Goku? After all, the trailer seems to show that this entity apparently now has the upper hand.

Fans still question this villain's superiority compared to their most beloved protagonist. Goku was able to surpass a lot of seemingly powerful villains all throughout this series, so fans think that it's only a matter of time before Goku figures out a way to defeat this opponent. He hasn't even used his Super Saiyan Blue form, so it's definitely possible for him to hold back while he gauges Goku Black's strength.

According to Design and Trend, the 50th episode of "Dragon Ball Super" might feature more of Goku Black's history. At this point in time, everyone knows that he's a Saiyan, the same with Goku, and that he has brought destruction upon a lot of planets. Regardless, finding out his true identity could be as fascinating as seeing him fight against Goku.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 50, entitled "Goku vs. Black" will be aired on July 3 on Fuji TV.
