NBA 2015 trade news: DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors afloat again?

Two months have passed and all trade talks involving Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins have since died down. But now, it looks like there are new speculations that could revive those possible trade talks.

According to a statement made by NBA Senior Writer Howard Beck via the Bleacher Report, a Cousins trade is still up in the air. It may be recalled that it was head coach George Karl who wanted to trade up the temperamental forward since both didn't exactly get along.

Trade rumors involving Cousins have since died down and both Karl and Cousins have vowed to try and make things work. But now, Beck reveals that it may not only be Karl who wants Cousins out but the front office as well.

Although he wasn't mentioned, Beck speculates that the front office may possibly include Karl in the mix. But like before, all these rumors were shot down by Cousins, owner Vivek Ranadive, and vice president Vlade Divac.

To recall, Ranadive made it clear that Cousins was not on the trading block. When news of the Kings possibly seeking to trade Cousins came out, there were three teams reportedly interested — the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Before anything got any headway, Ranadive put a stop to all the ramblings. Divac seconded all the trade rumors and such put an end for Cousins from possibly being shipped.

It went as far as seeing Ranadive allegedly opting to fire Karl than give up Cousins, unless both could get on the same page, as reported by ESPN. Karl has since made it public that he is trying to make things work while Cousins is also trying to understand the veteran coach.

If a picture paints a thousand words, then this post by cousins from Instagram should answer all issues pertaining to him and Karl.

So, is there any truth to the new rumor or is it all speculation? If ever a trade would be consummated, it may come by the time the 2015–16 NBA season starts, according to Beck, as reported by Bleacher Report. Do you believe it will happen?
