To get into the Halloween spirit, Capcom has released a new trailer for their upcoming game "Dead Rising 4," and it features some of the game's brutal combo weapons as well as some of Frank West's crazier costumes.
According to Game Rant, despite the holiday-themed setting of the "Dead Rising 4" game, it still features a massive number of bloodthirsty zombies looking forward to turning Frank West — the game's protagonist — into their next meal. Celebrating the element of horror in the game, Capcom decided to feature the upcoming selection of different costumes and combo weapons that Frank can use once he starts his newest adventure.
Frank will have a plethora of choices when it comes to costumes available at the rebuilt Willamette Mall. In the trailer, a few of these costumes were showcased, such as a Santa Claus outfit, a cowboy outfit, a wrestler outfit, and even a ridiculously designed blue dinosaur suit.
However, besides turning Frank into a silly looking character, the costumes will have other benefits. For instance, the triceratops mask costume will allow Frank to shoot fire from its mouth, which certainly helps cook up the hordes of zombies into a crisp.
Some of the combo weapons and vehicles were also showcased in the trailer, most of which Frank can certainly use to clear his way through the multitudes of zombies standing in his way. He can even get severed zombie flesh and combine it with a bomb to create an even more devastating explosive. Frank can even combine a sword wih a freezing device to create an ice sword. However, it should be worth noting that this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to combo weapons for the game
With all the developments surrounding the game right now, TechnoBuffalo reports that a lot of fans are sharing the sentiment that the series should return to a goofy, ludicrous tone instead of the dark, gritty horror game that was "Dead Rising 3."
"Dead Rising 4" will be released on Dec. 6 for the Xbox One and PC.
