Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns live stream (NBA preview): Tyson Chandler faces former team

The Dallas Mavericks have had a rough offseason, which practically left them scrambling for leftovers in the free agent market.

The big story, of course, is that botched signing of DeAndre Jordan which in all somehow became the crumbling point of the Mavericks. They did manage to sign up Wesley Matthews but his status is still in doubt.

Chandler Parsons is back but obviously not at 100%. Other pickups include Deron Williams and JaVale McGee, sadly also hurting due to injuries. So who does Dirk Nowitzki look for to help him out?

Well, things aren't looking that hot for the Mavericks, although they don't seem like a team that would end up winless. But if the team doesn't get their key players healthy in time, then that could happen.

Regardless, they face a Phoenix Suns team that didn't escape the drama in the offseason. Markieff Morris is, of course, the player in the middle of it, asking for a trade after his brother Marcus was sent to the Detroit Pistons.

Morris has backtracked since then, but the feeling of not being fully committed cannot be discounted.

Then there is Tyson Chandler who wants to prove to the Mavericks that they should have taken care of him. The seven-foot center is apparently sore for not being given importance, so expect him to use that as motivation against his former club.

If the Suns hum, expect them to hack out a win against the Mavs. Dallas is simply lacking in resources right now, but don't count them out completely just yet.

The Suns host the Mavericks at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix today starting at 10 p.m. EST. The game will be televised via FSAZ. For those looking to watch it online, you can do so via live stream here.
