The Cyber Crime Division of the FBI is dedicated to tracking down the faceless criminals who prey on the innocent while hiding behind their computers. After giving up her private practice as a renowned New York psychologist, Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette) has led her team into apprehending hackers in a number of operations. Very rarely does she show pity to these individuals, as she was once a victim of their misconduct.

Exceptions to the rule are Brody Nelson (Shad Moss) and Raven Ramirez (Hayley Kiyoko), two black hats who were recruited by Avery in her "hack for good" program. The two analysts, supervised by Daniel Krumitz (Charley Koontz), are Cyber's key persons in taking down as much black hats as they can. In the upcoming episode, Avery will once again reach out to a hacker to help her in a case she has a personal stake in.

In "The Walking Dead," TV Guide reports that she will ask the help of Stella Kaine (guest star Kelly Osbourne) aka the Angel of Digital Death to track down a hacker who "digitally killed" her ex-husband Andrew Michaels (Brent Sexton). After their divorce, the ex-couple had very little communication. They split after their daughter Hannah died. Avery's team does not even know she was married until season 1 finale, when she met her ex by chance in one of her cases.

According to the synopsis, Avery will receive notice that Andrew is dead. But when she checks, she will discover that he is very much alive. It appears that a hacker has targeted him, taken his identity, and issued his death certificate on his behalf. To get to the culprit, Avery needs someone who operates on the same level as him. This is where Stella comes in, as she is a hacker with the same modus as the one who victimized Andrew.

TV Line previously reported that Stella specializes in "killing" her target by filing a death certificate for his family and friends to see. She will then get to his bank account and get all the money. She also never forgets to cancel the victim's credit cards. Before he discovers what happened, he has already been robbed. Will Stella be able to help Avery in the case?

"CSI: Cyber" season 2 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
