Conor McGregor next fight rumors: Coaches believe McGregor's run will skid after UFC 197

Whenever Conor McGregor takes the spotlight, expect a lot of trash talking coming from the Irishman. He, apparently, put on a show recently when UFC 197 was being promoted.

Normally, his opponent would probably react to his insults but not Rafael dos Anjos who kept his composure to the max via UFC.com. Apparently, he is wise to the tactic, a mind game which "The Notorious" uses as a mental potshot as he tries to get under the skin of his opponent.

But right now, it seems that trash talking is not limited to the fighters involved. Even the coaches and managers are getting into the act which adds another colorful angle for the upcoming tiff.

McGregor's coach John Kavanagh was pretty confident that his boy can unfurl the same finish in the first round against dos Anjos. Considering they were coming off a big win over Jose Aldo, who was defeated in in just 13 seconds, the adrenaline and hype flowing from within them was apparent.

But dos Anjos manager, Ali Abdel-Aziz, feels that they may be pushing their outlook a bit too early. While he admits being entertained by McGregor and his antics, it remains that dos Anjos has proven himself in the lightweight division via Fox Sports.

Despite the confidence McGregor brings, Abdel-Aziz believes that dos Anjos will send McGregor tumbling back to reality this March in what is seen as the first wave of his spiral.

Ironically, Abdel-Aziz also handles Frankie Edgar — the rumored next opponent for McGregor's UFC featherweight title. He adds that once dos Anjos is done with McGregor, the Irishman will be in for another tough night against Edgar at UFC 200 in July.

Cutting it all short, Abdel-Aziz sees McGregor ending up without a title by July 10, and such will bring him back tumbling down to earth.

Against dos Anjos, McGregor is expected to bankroll another hefty payday. But if and when he starts losing those titles, Abdel-Aziz believes that everything will be back to normal, finally silencing McGregor.
