CM Punk has yet to make his official debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and his recent injuries have, of course, moved all those plans back.

While many had anticipated the former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler to make his UFC debut this month, all plans of that were forcibly cancelled due to Punk's lack of preparation and training. UFC President Dana White confirms via the MMA Junkie that Punk was indeed set to make his UFC debut this month but all that crumbled when he fell to a shoulder injury.

The injury happened in October and trainer Duke Roufus said that it would take Punk six to 10 months to recover from the injury.

Doing the match and assuming Punk does recover in six months, this would be around March 2016 at the earliest. With UFC 200 being the target even in July, would approximately three months be enough for him to prepare?

Such remains to be seen for the former wrestler who could really provide the WWE a big lift right now with most of its stars out due to injury.

By now, everyone knows the story on why Punk left, something tied up to his injuries. He claims to have been forced to compete even when he was not 100% before and now, the man being pinned for such is Triple H.

Apparently, Triple H is being criticized at the way he booked WWE talents, particularly putting the spotlight on part-time wrestlers like Brock Lesnar.

Punk was a regular and one of the hardworking talents the WWE had, even if he had injuries. But Punk obviously reached his limits and this was part of why he had enough of the so-called favoritism and moved on.

And now, Punk is trying to work his way back into a different scene and yet with another round of injuries. If his work ethic in the WWE is anything to consider, he will likely do the same in the UFC.

But the difference is that the UFC is a totally different environment, something more brutal and physical than the WWE.
