Cleveland Cavaliers 2015 update: LeBron James sends strong message to Dan Gilbert

Lebron James is one man the Cleveland Cavaliers want to please at all cost, and until now, the King has so far been mum with regard to the issue of his buddy Tristan Thompson.

Everyone knows by now that the Cavs and Thompson are still miles apart as far as striking a deal is concerned, and many felt that with James intervening, the whole row could possibly come to an end.

Of course, James has repeatedly said that he doesn't want to get in the middle of it but an Instagram post he posted recently somehow says otherwise.

Apparently, James and Thompson were at Miami recently to attend a wedding. In the post, it seemed both were in good spirits. It was however the caption that made many to believe that James was indirectly telling Dan Gilbert and the Cavs to get the contract issues resolved.

The caption read: "Get it done!!!! Straight up," James wrote on Instagram, adding the hashtag: #MissMyBrother.

The funny thing is that James has denied that he is intervening but depending on how one takes that IG message, it of course sends a different tune to the whole matter.

In short, James is technically hinting that he wants Thompson back so get it done.

On what happens after that remains to be seen, especially considering that he is only secured for one year.

But next season, James will have the option to want out of his contract though the Cavs reiterated that they are not fazed by the fact that James would do so.

Thompson did lower his contract demand to $53 million spread over three-years, a bit of an adjustment from the original $94 million deal for five years. The Cavs were willing to shell out only $80 million for five years, but, apparently, Thompson and his agent Rich Paul were not agreeable to such.

The worst scenario is that Thompson signs the qualifying offer of $6.8 million. That, however, comes with a threat that Thompson will not re-sign with the Cavs next year.

To cut it short, what is the real worth of Thompson? Is he entitled to a max contract after stepping up in the NBA playoffs? Can the Cavs move on without the Canadian forward?
