The agents will take down a possible sex offender in the upcoming episode of the NBC series "Chicago P.D."

In "Hit Me," CarterMatt reports that a police officer has gone rogue and is preying on women. All his victims turn out to be costumers of one of the casinos in the city. To apprehend him, Voight (Jason Beghe) will set up a sting operation, which involves Lindsay (Sophia Bush) going undercover. Unfortunately, the maneuver will hit a snag when the detective in charge of the casino cases threatens to blow up her cover.

Detective Watts (guest star Erik Jensen) will not let the Chicago P.D. step on his territory without proper consent from him. When he heard of Voight's entrapment operation, he wants to be included in the set up. This will infuriate the other man, as he sees Watts' involvement as unnecessary. Will the detective end up compromising the sting? It is certainly possible that he is hiding something from the police. Is he protecting someone from the casino or perhaps, the culprit himself?

Meanwhile, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) is determined to put as much distance as she can between her and her ex-fiancé. After Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) dissed what was supposed to be the first meeting of their parents last episode, Burgess returned the ring he gave her. The two were supposed to have dinner with his father and her mother, when Ruzek suddenly called to cancel. His dad could not come and he decided he was too busy to go out for dinner, as well.

Burgess was very disappointed, as she could see he was really not interested in their upcoming wedding. In the latter part of the episode, she called off the engagement. It now appears that she wants to transfer to a different district and will ask Platt (Amy Morton) to grant her request. Ruzek is devastated, as he does not see that one coming. He is still reeling from their previous encounter, never expecting that Burgess will dump him.

Mouse (guest star Samuel Hunt) will reportedly try to cheer him up by offering to set up a blind date for him and a friend. Will Ruzek go?

"Chicago P.D." season 3 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
