Tension will continue to rise between Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) in the upcoming episode of the NBC series "Chicago Med."

In "Clarity," Spoilers Guide reports that the Gaffney staff will be silent witnesses to the clash of the two doctors. Last episode, Will and Natalie butt heads when the former decided to disregard a patient's request to not resuscitate her when the time comes that she flatlines. Natalie asked Will to stop but he did not listen. Sharon (S. Epatha Merkerson) was also horrified that one of her doctors completely ignored the hospital protocol. They are even facing a lawsuit because of what happened.

For Natalie, she understood Will's point of view about wanting to save the patients entrusted in their care. However, she also knew that not following the practice could lead to Will losing his license. They have been friends for quite some time now and she did not want him to get in trouble. In fact, there were instances when their colleagues have questioned if their relationship was entirely platonic. In the upcoming episode, that will change quickly.

The promo shows Will getting the boost he needs to tell Natalie exactly what he feels. In the clip, a co-worker is telling him that everyone in the hospital knows he likes Natalie. This shocks Will, as he does not even realize he is that transparent. Perhaps, he himself is not sure about his feelings; such is why the statement comes as a surprise. The next scene shows the doctor finally deciding to test if Natalie feels the same way about him.

The teaser shows Will going to Natalie's locker with a determined expression. Natalie does not know what to make out of Will's appearance, until he leans in for a kiss. While it is not revealed if she let him kiss her, most fans think she will reject him. It has not been long since her husband died. She misses him terribly, especially with the arrival of their baby. Is it too soon for a new romance?

"Chicago Med" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
