A very dangerous syndicate will return, and Agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team will be the ones to take it down in the upcoming episode of the long-running CBS series, "NCIS."

In "Déjà vu," CarterMatt reports that the NCIS team will accidentally stumble on the resurgence of the group while investigating the death of a seaman. The victim was supposed to appear in front of a grand jury, but he never got to testify. The man was murdered and the trail leads to an international human-trafficking ring that the team has encountered before. The team thought the consortium was already wiped out, but it appears the snakes were able to find a way to resurrect their awful business.

Meanwhile, the city will be experiencing a massive blackout when a storm knocks out the power grid. Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) feels it will be dangerous to drive around D.C. with the powers gone. He is thinking of asking a colleague if he can stay for the night. The synopsis suggests that something unprecedented will be happening to McGee, as he convinces whoever associate to give him shelter from the storm. Will this cause problems with his girlfriend, Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman)?

Meanwhile, fans of the series are saddened to hear that one of their favorite characters, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) will be exiting at the end of the season. Us Weekly reports that the actor has decided to leave after 13 years of playing the tough special agent in "NCIS." Weatherly is one of the remaining four original cast members, together with Harmon, David McCallum, who plays Ducky, and Pauley Perrette, the cool and composed Abby.

CBS praised Weatherly for the "immense charm and talent" he shared with the series for more than a decade, stating that he has helped "NCIS" to get where it is today. The network also hinted that it would not be the last time viewers would see the actor in CBS. Meanwhile, Weatherly posted a message on Twitter, thanking his co-actors and fans for everything.

"I will miss the amazing crew & cast, who are like family to me, & to the fans all over the world — THANK YOU, it's been a fantastic ride!" he tweeted.

"NCIS" season 13 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
