'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' DLC packs: Customize exoskeletons and weapons in new update

UK flag customization Call of Duty

Spanking new DLC packs for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" are now up on the in-game store for gamers to exploit. Sledgehammer Games is allowing players of the first-person shooter video game to modify and personalize their exo suits and weapon camos as well as calling cards, emblems and everything in between. In addition, gamers can have their suits and weapons garbed and themed with a national flag of their choice from ten different countries. There are four brand-new packs, which include a total of 22 items.

While story pin-up Private Jack Mitchell of the U.S. Marine Corps fights big battles and shootouts and faces all-out explosions and terrorist attacks, players will have the chance to customize his garb and everything he uses in navigating through his chaotic world.

First of the bunch is the Standard Personalization Packs. For only $1.99, players can get a themed weapon camo, three reticles, a player card and an emblem item. On the other hand, the second bundle, the Premium Personalization Packs comes with all the goodies brought by the aforementioned pack but with customizations on the buyer's exoskeleton and helmet. This one only costs $3.99. With the $2.99 Premium Exo packs, gamers will take home a unique exoskeleton and a corresponding helmet. Lastly, the World Flags Exo Pack puts forward a flag-skinned helmet. Flags to choose from are those of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Japan. This one cost no more than $1.99.

According to VG 247, as players shop for the items, they can view their picks in the customization screen before paying for them. It is important to note though that the DLC packs are currently exclusive to Xbox players. Sledgehammer Games's plans for the rest of the gaming platforms are yet to be divulged.
