With Amy (Melissa Fumero) successfully impressing Jake's (Andy Samberg) parents when she first met them for his birthday last season, it is now his turn to make a good impression when he finally meets her father.

In the upcoming eight episode of Fox's "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4, fans of the American police sitcom will be introduced to Amy's father, a former cop, who will be arriving to town to celebrate the holidays with his daughter.

"At Amy's intricately planned Thanksgiving dinner, Jake goes "full Santiago" (binder and all) in order to impress her father (guest star Jimmy Smits), a former cop. With Jake and Amy's focus elsewhere, Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) is left on turkey duty and Holt (Andre Braugher) helps Pimento (Jason Mantzoukas) cope after learning he can no longer work for the NYPD," read the synopsis posted by SpoilerTV.

It would be interesting to see how Jake's meting with Mr. Santiago would go especially since he is polar opposites with Amy.

But it is also interesting to watch out for how Holt will be dealing with Adrian and how the news would affect Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) since they have a relationship.

Meanwhile, there has been buzz that Fox will not renew the police workplace comedy series for another season because of a ratings drop from "Brooklyn Nine-Nine's" last season, reported TV Series Finale.

Season 3 of the show raked in an average of 2.73 million views per episode per week with a 1.21 rating for the 18-49 demographic.

This season's average range at 2.246 million viewers per week and a .97 rating for the 18-49 demographic. While the biggest drop was recorded at the beginning of the season, recent figures showed that there was 5.94 percent improvement to the ratings after "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" came back from a two week break.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
