Viewers will finally meet Charles' (Joe Lo Truglio) former flame when the cop comedy series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" returns after its winter hiatus in January.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the infamous and terrible ex-wife will be seen in the upcoming episode of the FOX series. Stories about Eleanor have been circulating around the 99th precinct of the New York City Police for a long time. The woman whom Charles called "Mommy" will reportedly be back to stir up the operative's feelings all-over again. As expected, her arrival will be a terrible ordeal for Charles, as his current girlfriend Genevieve (Mary Lynn Rajskub) will also be around.

In the past, Eleanor cheated on Charles. After the break-up, he still lived in her basement and continued to do so when she got engaged to a new guy. Tagged as a "frightful force of nature," Eleanor will be played by actress Kathryn Hahn. She is currently seen on Amazon Studio's "Transparent," where she portrays Rachel, a rabbi. Hahn also guest starred on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and Showtime's "Happyish."

Aside from Charles' ex, viewers will also see Jake's (Andy Samberg) original partner Stevie. FOX has tapped Damon Wayans Jr. for the role. Hypable reports that he and Jake will be teaming up once again to solve a case. Their reunion will be rubbing Charles the wrong way, as he cannot help but be jealous of the pair's good relationship. Jake will reportedly be vocal about his friendship with Stevie, as he reminisces about their past escapades.

Other guests expected to appear in season 3 include Katey Segal, who will play as Jake's mother, and Niecy Nash, Holt's (Andre Braughter) sister. Bill Hader, Nick Offerman, and Archie Panjabi will also appear as guest stars.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 will return on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
