Over the years, the Black Friday Sale evolved from a one-day promotion for retailers to a month-long, extended discounts spree for shoppers. Now, as early as two weeks before Thanksgiving, retailers such as Target and Staples already have their own promo deals lined up.

According to the GottaDeal Black Friday website, Target's Black Friday Sale will be a day early, as gates will open by 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Not only will the retailer offer discounted prices on a per-item basis but has also list other deals and promotions. For example, Target shoppers will have a free $100 Target gift card for every purchase of an iPad Air or Mini 4, a $150 gift card for an iPad Air 2, and an $80 gift card for an iPad Mini 2.

The Black Friday Sale of Target also has other electronic items listed such as 25 percent off on Apple TV (it was not listed if the new version is also included), wireless and waterproof speakers for around $30 to $70, and other electronics accessories. Meanwhile, large appliances are also included, like Samsung's 60-inch 1080p Smart LED HDTV that is listed for $698, and a 49-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV from LG for $500.

Another retail giant that has announced Black Friday deals is Staples. On the BlackFriday.fm website, a scanned flyer from Staples has been published. On the list, Staples shoppers can start to check their selected items on Thanksgiving Thursday online, while brick-and-mortar stores will open for the sale on Friday at 6 in the morning.

The retail giant opted to highlight its mobile workstation, presenting discounted prices for laptops, tablets, and other electronics items. A Toshiba laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor is listed with a $500 price tag, and there are also other workstation-related items such as wide-screen monitors and MS Office and Internet security software.
