Game publisher EA revealed both the minimum and recommended PC specs for the forthcoming "Battlefield: Hardline."

According to EA, PCs and devices with fewer than 4 GB of RAM may encounter some issues when playing the beta version of the game. This is because the "gameplay performance for lower-end PCs is still being optimized." However, the issues that a gamer may encounter remain unspecified.

For gamers who intend to play the game, below are the minimum PC requirements for the upcoming final and official version of "Battlefield: Hardline."

  • OS: Windows Vista SP 2 64-bit (with KB971512 update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i3/i5 2.4 GHz / AMD Athlon II/Phenom II 2.8 GHz
  • System RAM: 4 GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 (896 MB) / ATI Radeon HD 5770 (1GB)
  • Hard Drive Space: 60 GB
  • DirectX 11

On the other hand, the following are the recommended PC specs for the game:

  • OS: Windows 8 64-bit (with KB971512 Update)
  • CPU: Intel Quad-Core CPU, AMD Six-Core CPU
  • System RAM: 8 GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760, AMD Radeon R9 290
  • Graphics Card Memory: 3 GB
  • Hard Drive Space: 60 GB
  • DirectX 11

Meanwhile, the open beta of the "Battlefield: Hardline" will be available for download from Feb. 3 to 8 that will give a glimpse of the game. The beta version will be around 10 to 11 GB for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The trial game will be heading to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well, and will be a bit less than 4 GB in size.

The new "Battlefield: Hardline" will include new gaming modes Hotwire, Conquest, and Heist, and maps include Downtown, Dust Bowl, and Bank Job. And there's great news for players who join the beta as they will get free in-game Hardline dog tag to be unlocked when the next patch update rolls out.

"Battlefield: Hardline" is set for release on March 17 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, and PS3 in the U.S.
