Although DICE and Electronic Arts' shooter "Battlefield 4" has been deemed an older version with the release of the current "Battlefield Hardline" title, both the developer and publisher did not stop supporting the older game release. Aside from coming out with new expansions and DLCs, they have also come up with numerous deals and promos for "Battlefield 4" players.

The current one, focused primarily for Xbox One owners of the game, gives players free access to the "Battlefield 4 Naval Strike" expansion pack. This DLC will unlock a new amphibious vehicle for players, plus additional four new multiplayer maps.

In addition to the free content, having access to the expansion pack will be unlimited once it is downloaded. Players who have already unlocked the "Naval Strike" expansion via the promo will get to keep the DLC forever.

However, not all Xbox One players will be given access to the free "Naval Strike" package, as Electronic Arts also announced that the free download access will only be given to those who are members of the EA Access program. The download will be available through the EA Access app on the Xbox One console.

In addition to the free "Naval Strike" DLC for EA Access members, Electronic Arts also has an on-going promo for a 10 percent discount on all EA digital content on Xbox One, including other "Battlefield 4" expansion packs and Battlepacks. There is no need for any redeeming code as the discount is applied automatically when a player purchases content through the Xbox One Games Store.

The "Battlefield 4 Naval Strike" free download for EA Access members is live up to Sept. 3.

Meanwhile, aside from the "Naval Strike" deal, "Battlefield 4" is also set to receive another new add-on expansion, the "Night Operations" DLC. This new expansion will give players access to a new map with nocturnal features.
