Director Zack Snyder finally announced that the filming for his upcoming movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in Mexico has been concluded.
The director posted the announcement on his Twitter account, saying "Just wrapped an amazing few weeks filming in New Mexico! Awesome crew+locations! Great experience. Thanks New Mexico!"
He also added a picture of a road where the filming was set a few weeks ago.
But even though the shooting stage of the highly anticipated DC Comics film has reached its completion stage, there are still a lot of post-production steps that need to be done.
Meanwhile, a major spoiler was recently leaked by BadassDigest. According to the website, an important DC character is already dead even before the plot of the film starts. The site notes a memorial plaque to James Gorden, suggesting that the commissioner already passed away, which is most likely why there was no casting made for the role.
Because of this, questions are starting to go around online, asking about the possible effect of Gordon's demise for the next installments of the "Batman" franchise. But according to the website, the death will probably not affect Batman in its next sequels.
However, there are no confirmations yet whether Ben Affleck will reprise his role as Batman after the "Batman v Superman" movie. If Warner Bros. manages to get the actor to sign more films for the Justice League franchise, there are no certainties that he will also appear in solo "Batman" movies.
Since the filming of the highly-anticipated superhero movie had reached its finishing stage, fans of both Batman and Superman are waiting for the release of the first video teaser of the film, which is slated for release in March 2016.
Aside from Affleck, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" also stars Henry Cavill as Superman.
