Listed as one of the most-anticipated title releases for the year, the launch of "Batman: Arkham Knight" hit a snag when it was found out that its PC version is full of glitches and issues, especially on the performance side, that took away most players' awe in the first hours of playing the game. Not to mention the glitches found in its PS4 and Xbox One versions, the PC title's release went so bad that publisher Warner Bros. Interactive even decided to pull out the game from digital copy stores such as Steam, and also urged retailers to take the physical copies off their shelves first as they try to fix the different issues.
Recent reports indicate that those who have already bought the PC game will have to wait until September for a major fix to be rolled out. However, it seems that Warner Bros. Interactive and developer Rocksteady will be releasing what they call an "interim patch" next month that would, to some extent, ease off some of the issues found in the title.
According to the post on the Steam community page, the update is already on its final stages and will be released in the coming weeks.
The publisher stated, "Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Rocksteady and our partners are targeting an interim patch update for existing players to be released in August. This update will address many of the issues we listed in our June 27 update."
Last month, the publisher and developer already issued a micro update for the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight". The update, released on June 27, addressed some performance issues such as framerate hitches and improvements to the graphics settings. The patch also updated some drivers for graphics cards that were causing some issues, such as those from Nvidia and AMD.
