Good news for excited fans clamoring for the second season of Attack on Titans.
Production recently began for the second season of the successful anime and along with it comes plenty of spoilers about the new episodes.
According to reports, however, instead of focusing on moving the story forward, the season will mainly be exploring the origins of the Titans and how the world was before the walls were erected.
The second season is expected to introduce an ape like character called the Beast Titan.
Images were revealed by Twitter user KoeiTecmoUS, along with a short description of the new titan.
"#AttackOnTitan Beast Titan - A gigantic ape-like creature that uses sheer force to crush its foes. #KTfamily," he said.
Along with the Beast Titan, other new Titans will be introduced like Zeke, an intelligent Titan who transforms much like Eren. There is also the Armored Titan who is larger and more powerful than any other Titans, Inquisitr reported.
Another problem that will be brought to the fore is the discovery that the walls which were built by the humans for protection are actually being used by the Titans to hide in.
It was also reported that Captain Erwin Smith will be leading an uprising and many Survey Corps. members will meet their demise because of Wren's hardheadedness.
Based on rumors and speculation, the true parentage of Krista Lenz, a member of the Survey Corps will also be revealed.
It has been rumored that she is actually the youngest daughter of Rod Reiss whose real name is Historia Reiss, Parent Herald reported.
The extent of the powers of the Reiss family will also be revealed as they will be discovered to wield the "Coordinate" which is defined as the "Titan's Power."
The season is expected to air early 2017.
