The Atlanta Hawks will play the Washington Wizards on Monday night in a massive game as the Hawks look to square up their NBA 2015 Playoffs series. The Wizards come into Game 4 with the advantage, leading 2-1 in the best of seven series, and Washington will know that if they can claim a win today in front of their home fans then it would put them on the brink of taking out the No. 1 seeded Hawks.
Today's big Game 4 between the Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards will start at 7 p.m. ET and takes place from the Verizon Center in Washington DC. The game will be broadcast live on TV on the TNT network, but can also be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.
Many pundits were doubting whether the Washington Wizards would be able to defeat the Hawks without John Wall, but they proved them wrong with a fallaway bank shot at the buzzer in Game 3 to claim the win.
That puts them in potentially an excellent position, and if they can follow that up with a win here tonight they would move to a commanding 3-1 lead in this Eastern Conference Semi Finals series.
The signs are good that they can cope without Wall, as rumors have surfaced in recent days that Wall is very unlikely to make it back before the end of this series. He suffered five fractures in his hand and wrist in Game 1, and that means the Wizards will have to get by without him.
Otto Potter has been one man who has risen to the challenge in Wall's absence. He totaled 32 points and nine assists over the past two games, and has given away nothing, not letting one turnover slip by.
Paul Pierce has said, "We feel like it's only us in the locker room who is going to give us a chance (without Wall). We feel like we should have won Game 2, truthfully. But even with John out, we still feel like we have enough in that room to win a game, to win this series. It's not going to deter us from our goals."
