Hotel Cortez will be open for business tomorrow, when "American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres. The FX horror anthology will in no way go easy on the scares for its season 5 debut, with the building introduced in the season opener titled "Checking In" as a scene of "a chain of gruesome murders."

These deaths will serve as the invitation to the hotel for Detective John Lowe (played by Wes Bentley) after receiving tip about the place, which is currently run by Elizabeth aka The Countess, played by pop diva Lady Gaga. Lowe will be in for an enormous surprise when he checks into the hotel.

But before that, there is also the mystery surrounding the identity of the individual who informed him that the Los Angeles murders happen in the hotel. It will also be interesting to see how the victims are connected to each other or to the hotel itself – aspects that will help Lowe get to the bottom of it all.

Lady Gaga won't be the only new face fans of the series will see in "American Horror Story: Hotel." Matt Bomer, Max Greenfield and Cheyenne Jackson are also among the stars bulking up the cast. In an interview with Variety, Jackson opened up about how terrifying the season is.

"It's gorier than, I think, any of them so far, and it's scarier to me because it's more psychological and not just like, blood and guts," the actor said. Bomer, meanwhile, said he "had to put down the first script a couple times and take a few deep breaths and then come back to it."

Bomer will play the role of Elizabeth's lover Donovan while Jackson will be Will Drake, a fashion icon working on getting another shot at establishing himself in the field. As per the Hollywood Reporter, not all characters will show up in the premiere, which should court more mysteries.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres tomorrow, Oct. 7, at 10 p.m. on FX. Fans can watch the live stream on FX Networks.
