Adele fans have been awaiting news about "25," the hitmaker's alleged new album, which got its name after the singer's age during the time she recorded it. Apparently, the new collection of songs from the British singer and songwriter will be released this year and that "25" is actually ready to hit the market anytime.

"The album is written, recorded and finished. Theoretically it could be released tomorrow if she wanted," a source told Daily Star. "If I was placing a bet I'd go for October or November."

It is reportedly intentional that a release date isn't being dropped so that fans will be surprised, like what Beyoncé did with her latest album.

"The plan is to release internationally on iTunes as a complete surprise without any previous promotion or build-up publicity campaign," the insider further told Daily Star. "The shock tactics worked amazingly well for Beyoncé and the feeling is Adele's new album is so widely anticipated it doesn't need a long promotional build-up."

Notably, Adele hasn't released an album since 2011, the year she launched "21," which included the song "Rolling in the Deep," an LSS-material soundtrack among others. However, she was allegedly recording with Pharrell Williams for the "25" album. The artist admitted to Daily Mail in June that he has seen Adele recently.

According to Williams, Adele's time is very much devoted to her four-year-old son Angelo. This is why they did not get to spend much time in the recording studio. Despite this though, their fleeting sessions were enough for the "Happy" singer to know that Adele really is a "masterful writer."

"She's kinda like, 'OK guys, I'm gonna open my diary for 20 minutes.' So it's like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really. Then she gives it to you and closes it up and disappears, and she's off with her beautiful boy – and that's what it's all about," Williams told Daily Mail.

It remains to be seen when "25" will be released but when it's close to seeing the light of day, she will allegedly hold concerts to promote it.
