Yuna Kim, the 2009 Olympic Figure Skating champion from South Korea, will be facing tough competition this year to defend her title.

USA - Gracie Gold

Gracie Gold, 18, will be competing at the Olympics for the first time. She recently won the U.S. National Figure Skating Championship when she dazzled the crowd with her flawless performances. All eyes will be on her as America cheers her on to live up to her name and bring home the gold.

Japan - Mao Asada

Mao Asada, 23, won silver at the 2009 Vancouver Olympics. She is best known for successfully carrying out the difficult triple axel. She is a two-time world champion and has been training hard for her lost shot for gold at the Olympics alongside rival Yuna Kim.

South Korea – Yuna Kim

Yuna Kim made history when she broke Guinness Records with one of the best Olympic figure skating performances of all time. Both her short and free skate performances were unforgettable. Kim recently won the gold medal at the 2013 Golden Spin of Zagreb and placed first at the national championships in South Korea.
