Xbox Games with Gold August 2015 free games list: 'Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes' and 'Metro' titles

 Xbox Wire

The list of free games for Xbox Games with Gold members for the month of August has finally been announced. There are four games all-in-all: Xbox One owners are rewarded with two titles; the same goes for the gamers loyal to the Xbox 360.

The biggest title in the bunch is "Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes" and Xbox One players are going to get their hands on the action-adventure stealth video game without spending a cent. Thanks to Games with Gold, members of the service are going to save $19.99 with this giveaway, with the game available to download for the whole month of August. The Konami-published shooter, which works as a playable demo for the much-awaited "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," was already given away by Sony via its PlayStation Network back in June.

The second game for players of the new generation console is "How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition." This not only includes the original survival zombie game but also all six of its expansion packs. It is usually priced at $19.99 but Xbox One players with Games with Gold will get it for free.

Xbox 360 players have two free "Metro" titles ready for download via Games with Gold. The first one is the survival horror first-person shooter "Metro 2033," which was released back in 2010 and usually costs $19.99. The title can be downloaded from Aug. 1 to 15.

The other one is "Metro: Last Light," a single-player first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world. Xbox 360 gamers will enjoy the combination of the survival horror and the stealth elements of the title. But the best part is that this action-packed title is free during the latter half of August.
