Two of the greatest in-ring technicians, A.J. Styles and Chris Jericho, continue their rivalry at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Fastlane 2016 which will be held at the Quicken Loans Arena this Sunday, Feb. 21.

The match between the two has yet to be announced, but according to Wrestlinginc.com, Styles' challenge was accepted by Jericho during the SmackDown tapings this week which will be televised on Thursday.

Styles stunned the professional wrestling world when he proved that the rumors are true, making his WWE debut during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) last month.

The 38-year-old wrestler was the number three entry in the Royal Rumble match and lasted for nearly 30 minutes before getting eliminated, which the fans did not enjoy.

Styles' first Monday Night Raw (Jan. 25) match was a collision with Jericho, in which he won via pinfall.

Their paths again crossed on a Feb. 4 episode of SmackDown when Jericho challenged Styles to a rematch after the latter defeated The Miz.

A handshake sealed the second meeting between the two but in a Feb. 8 episode of Raw, they engaged in a heated face-off after Styles helped Jericho following an attack from The Miz.

Instead of just leaving, Jericho decided to give Styles a shoulder barge that led to a scuffle between the two.

During last week's episode of SmackDown, the rematch took place and both men were close to capturing the win, although Jericho was the victor this time.

In this week's Raw, Styles beat The Miz then issued the challenge on Jericho who said the announcement of his decision is on SmackDown. As reported, Jericho accepted the challenge and the rubber match with Styles will take place in Cleveland this Sunday.

The current rivalry with Jericho is a good push for Styles as it tries to show that he can hang with the best of the best in the biggest wrestling company in the world.
