'WWE 2k17' roster release date news: Bill Goldberg is pre-order bonus; final list of wrestlers revealed

"WWE 2k17" is one of the most anticipated games to be released soon, and with it there is a new batch of wrestlers revealed that will complete the final roster of the game.

According to What Culture, the names of these roster members have been revealed a handful at any given time, but the most recent one revealed the last of the wrestlers to be added to the game's roster. The grand total WWE superstars added for this game is 24, and it is considered to be the largest roster to be added in a game for "WWE."

As for its composition, the current roster for this game includes a few NXT wrestlers as well as some from the current main talents and a bit of the WWE legends made it into the "WWE 2k17" roster. The majority of names revealed in this last batch are wrestlers fans have been expecting in the yearly series, but for the sake of freshness, some new faces have been added, and these wrestlers have never been played before, like Asuka.

Destructoid has the list of the final roster, along with some opinions about it. One wrestler seems to have piqued their interest, along with a number of fans: Sting. Regardless of whether or not the actual WWE had nothing to do with him, he is considered by many as an underrated legend that needs to be recognized more. Furthermore, Goldberg is also in the game, and with him as one of the playable characters, fans are getting closer to recreating the WCW, but in order to do so, fans must pre-order the game to get this wrestler.

However, while this list is star-studded, fans should be more excited about the possible new names to be announced for the game's DLC features in the near future.

"WWE 2k17" will be released on Oct. 11 for PS4, Xbox One, PS 3, Xbox 360, and Windows.
