Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016 is just around the corner and the company is expected to reveal several things at the event, which includes the latest versions of iOS, OS X, tvOS, watchOS and several more.

WWDC 2016 is scheduled to start on June 13 and will last until June 17. The company is speculated to release a new version of its mobile operating system, iOS 10. iOS 10 is said to be containing tweaks and an updated look for the OS.

The Verge reported that Apple Music will be receiving improvements and the Photos app will offer a new way to edit an image and is said to take on Skitch, a rival app. A big update for Siri is also expected, plus its SDK will be introduced to third-party developers. This will allow the personal assistant to perform tasks within the app, interact with other apps, and access data within the contents of the app. Apple Insider added that an iMessage for Android might also be announced on Monday, during the keynote event.

OS X 10.12 is rumored to bring Siri to the Mac, which will happen for the first time. This will give access to Mac users, which iOS users have been enjoying for several years now. Functionality will be the same for both platforms, like assisting in searches, opening apps, answer simple questions and play music from iTunes.

Another featured rumored to arrive in the latest version of OS X is the ability of an Apple smartphone to unlock an Apple computer. This will happen when an iPhone is in close proximity of a Mac computer, eliminating the need to key in a password.

There are also speculations that OS X will be renamed back to MacOS.

The rumor mill also mentioned tvOS and watchOS will be featured at the upcoming event; however, very few details are available.

For those looking forward to some new hardware, 9To5Mac mentioned that no new device will be featured during WWDC, and it will largely focus on software.
