Big-name game company Blizzard announced an upcoming expansion to its massive online multiplayer RPG title "Wold of Warcraft," providing details at this year's Gamescom event.

According to Blizzard, the expansion dubbed as "Legion" will continue where the story of "Warlords of Draenor" left off, telling the story of when Illidan Stormrage fought demons using Demon Hunters. The expansion will also explore the story of Sargeras and the Burning Legion.

The "Legion" DLC will also open a new area, The Broken Isles. A stronghold of the Night Elves in the past, the area now serves as a graveyard infested with The Broken, a new elf spawn controlled by the Burning Legion, which in turn is governed by Gul'dan on The Broken Shore.

Out of all the new areas to be explored with the expansion, three new dungeons stood out and were detailed during the Gamescom reveal. First is the Halls of Valor, a dungeon located above Stormheim serving as a level-up point for players. There is also a land dungeon on Black Rook, home to Lord Ravencrest. Finally, Demon Hunters will need to go to the prison on the Vault of the Wardens to begin the hunt for Illidan.

Aside from the new dungeons, the "Legion" expansion will also raise the level cap to 110, with one character per player automatically boosted to level 100. Meanwhile, the Demon Hunter class will be added, as well as new Raids such as the Suramar Palace and Emerald Nightmare.

In terms of system and interface upgrades, the expansion will introduce a new PvP progression system that will allow characters to level up, unlock skills, and buy bonuses through PvP wins.

Still in continuous development, the "Legion" expansion for "Wold of Warcraft" will undergo its beta test, and players who are interested in participating are asked to log in to their Battle.net account and update their "Warcraft" preferences in the Beta Profile Settings
