Willie Myrick, who was kidnapped, sang "Every Praise" by Hezekiah Walker until he was freed

Schoolboy Willie Myrick, who was kidnapped from his driveway on March 31, was released by his captor after he repeatedly sang a gospel song.

Myrick, who is now 10-years-old, recalled how his kidnapper grabbed him from his driveway in Atlanta, Georgia. He was put into a car and was driven for three hours by his captor.

The boy repeatedly sang gospel song "Every Praise" by Hezekiah Walker during his ordeal, which led to his kidnapper telling him to "shut up."

The lyrics of the song is as follows:

Every praise is to our God.
Every word of worship with one accord
Every praise every praise is to our God.
Sing hallelujah to our God
Glory hallelujah is due our God
Every praise every praise is to our God.

God my Savior
God my Healer
God my Deliverer
Yes He is, yes He is

However, the boy continued singing, and the captor dropped him off in East Point. He was unharmed.

Myrick told of his frightening experience to churchgoers at his local church. "He opened the door and threw me out. He told me not to tell anyone."

Walker himself was among the congregation that had gathered to celebrate the boy's safe return. The singer told ABC News he was thankful that the boy was safe. "It's just emotional to me because you never know who you're going to touch. I just wanted to hug him and tell him I love him. I really believe that God spoke through me to save that young man's life."

Myrick's kidnapper has not been caught, but the Atlanta Police Department has released a rough sketch of the suspect.
