Will hope prevail for the remaining members of Rick Grimes's (Andrew Lincoln) group of survivors in the second half of "The Walking Dead" season 5?

The latest promo trailer for the return of the hit post apocalyptic zombie survival series instructs the remaining members of the group to keep on searching for ways to beat the odds. In the trailer, the phrase "Beyond Fear" and "Find Hope" is flashed on screen while the characters are embroiled in various ways to stay alive.

Rick tells his companions that "we do what we need to do, and then we get to live" to warn them against the impending danger after the events that happened when the show's midseason finale was aired last month. He also says that he believes that he and the rest of the group will be okay because they know what to do in order to survive.

Meanwhile, AMC released the official synopsis for the second half of the fifth season of "The Walking Dead." It reads:

After the tragic events of the mid-season finale–as well as losing the possibility of a cure in Washington, DC–Rick Grimes' band of survivors find themselves on the road, surviving day to day and trying to hold on to their shredded humanity and dwindling hope. Stripped of security and without a direction for the future, some of the group near their breaking point, some find themselves hardened and cold and some just try to grasp on to what little they have left. Though they are still breathing, the line between Rick's group and the dead is starting to blur. Could there be anything at this point that brings them back to life?"

Michonne (Danai Gurira) seems to echo the sentiments mentioned in the last line of the synopsis. In the new trailer, the fierce warrior asks the group if they will still wish for one more day to have a chance to survive.

"The Walking Dead" season 5B airs on AMC starting Feb. 8.
