Fans of Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" comics, which the AMC hit apocalyptic series of the same name is based on, know that there's still one particular character yet to appear on the show, one that they have badly wanted to see in action for a long time.

As big as his role is in the story, Negan has yet to get a small screen counterpart. But this may finally change in "The Walking Dead" season 6, if a new casting call obtained by The Spoiling Dead Fans is any indication.

AMC is apparently in search of a person of any ethnicity that can play the role of a character with the placeholder name Orin. The network may hide the true name of the individual from fans but the surprisingly vivid description provided for the character has Negan written all over it.

This newcomer is described as "a physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men."

"He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he's a brilliant strategist, he's pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful id that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He's truly one of the strongest personalities ever," the casting call reads.

Media outlets are certain that this character is Negan and that he is coming to "The Walking Dead" season 6 soon. It remains to be seen when he will actually present himself but rumor has it that AMC is saving the sociopath for the season finale.

Negan is best known for his odd and sinister weapon of choice – a baseball bat covered in barbed wire he named Lucille. [Spoiler Alert!] It is with this bludgeon that the brutal killer slaughters Glenn in the comics.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 premieres on Oct. 11 with "First Time Again."
