Fans will have to acquaint themselves with not one but four new characters joining "The Vampire Diaries" season 7.

According to The Wrap, two of those newcomers are Todd Lasance of "Home and Away" and Tim Kang of "The Mentalist," who both snagged recurring roles.

Lasance will take on the role of a magnetic, fearsome immortal named Julian, who is often an instigator of chaos. He lives for earthly pleasures and fears being drowned into anonymity. He has quite a following and is in flight to attract more.

Kang, on the other hand, will play as Oscar, described as a slipshod stoner living a low-profile yet extravagant life. His lifestyle turns a complete 360 when he suddenly turns into a feral killer and discovers his connection with the Salvatore clan.

The other two new cast members, according to TV Guide, are Justice Leak of "Powers" and Jaiden Kaine of "Zoo."

The former will portray the role of Malcolm, the oldest member of the Heretics. He's "clean-cut" and doesn't take no for an answer.

The latter will be known as Beau, another Heretic member who's both dangerous and silent. He is, most of the time, hushed not because he has nothing to say but because his throat has been hacked. He possesses unknown supernatural abilities and takes pride in loyalty.

It remains to be seen how these characters will clash with Damon and the gang. How the story will play out with the addition of the new cast members will be exciting to see.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will officially be without Elena on Oct. 8. Damon will go back to his old, volatile ways and the Heretics will start to rise to power in the new season.
