If weight is the issue, then Cris "Cyborg" Justino will address it.

The mega fight involving Justino and reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey may finally be getting some headway, with a report from ESPN baring that negotiations are currently underway to stage the much awaited face-off at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas this coming Dec. 5.

Justino is currently the Invicta FC 145-pound champion, and one issue that UFC president Dana White had singled out before was the weight disparity.

In order for the Rousey vs. Justino match to materialize, the Invicta champion would have to trim down to the desired catch weight (135 pounds) to make it happen, as well as fight at least once before "Cyborg" is to be considered for a tiff against Rousey.

A report from Inside MMA, however claims that the fight has already been offered to Justino, as explained by former manager Tito Ortiz.

But such was denied by White via Yahoo Sports, claiming that there is no truth to the rumors that negotiations are actually in progress.

"It's 100 percent a lie. First of all, the UFC doesn't even talk to Tito Ortiz, so let's start there. But we haven't offered any fight to [Justino]. Tito Ortiz is just making this [expletive] up. In no way, shape or form did we offer her a fight against Ronda at Cowboys Stadium. Completely untrue," the UFC president said.

The focus here is on how Justino would be able to make the catch weight of 135 pounds. Justino was a bit wary of trimming down at first; but with the aid of a nutritionist, manager George Prajin says Justino should have little trouble making the 135-pound catch weight as set by the UFC.

To date, White and the UFC have yet to issue an official statement on the claims, despite the fact that this is one fight UFC fans would love to see.

Aside from Justino, another fighter that is being considered to fight Rousey is Miesha Tate. Tate and Rousey have faced off twice before with the champ coming out victorious on both occasions.
