Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier will always be bitter rivals no matter what, even on social media. On whether folks will buy into it or not is their choice.
Jones and Cormier are expected to finally face off anytime soon once the UFC determines a proper time and place for the two bitter rivals but until that happens, expect a lot of jawing and trash talk between the two.
Social media twitter will be, of course, the top place to see this, seeing how the two love to, well, tweet. And just recently, the two were at it as usual, and the exchange was animated and heated as usual.
In fact the two seem to be setting up an impromptu fight over at the Oklahoma State University wrestling room with legendary head coach John Smith acting as special referee.
Cormier would then instead offer to head on down to New Mexico and then the venue changed yet again to the Jackson-Winkeljohn gym in Albuquerque.
Despite the exchange, such will unlikely happen unless Jones wants to test the privilege granted to him by the UFC. Of course, Dana White and company will not approve should such materialize despite all the attention and interest that UFC fans have surrounding the two bitter rivals.
Unless the two get out of their heads and really get into it, the best (and perhaps official) way to see these two is once the UFC makes an announcement of their long-awaited rematch.
Seeing that the UFC reinstated Jones this early, it will only be a matter of time before the actual and official match will be known.
For the meantime expect more trash-talk between the two to follow. Serious or not, the back-and-forth exchange does offer an amusing pitch to a highly animated rivalry that should soon be determined inside the Octagon where it should be.
